Well, we had quite the adventure. First we headed up the canyon and realized that it was down by the lake. Once we got there we stood by the fire to keep warm while we waited for the boat to arrive. It was fun walking down the trail lit up with lights and decorations. Once we boarded the boat, the Captain told us a story while he pulled us up the river and then back down. There were hundreds of jack-o-lanterns along the river. It was so neat to see the reflections in the water. We were even attacked by a pirate who came floating out of no where and missed the boat, oops! It was fun. Coltrin was scared that the pirate would try to get him, but he didn't and rewarded Coltrin, with extra candy. It was a fun family adventure!
